About DeGPT
DeGPT started with a simple, annoying problem: we used ChatGPT every day for work, and every time we pasted its output into an email, a Word doc, or Slack, it arrived full of stray asterisks, broken bullets, weird spacing, and tell-tale phrases like “I’d be happy to help!”. We were cleaning that up by hand, dozens of times a day.
Who builds DeGPT
DeGPT is built and maintained by The DeGPT Team — a small group of people who write, edit, and ship AI-assisted text professionally. Everything we write about on the blog comes from our own day-to-day use: the platforms we paste into, the formatting that breaks, and the fixes that actually hold up.
How we handle your text
By default we process text in memory only to produce the cleaned output. We do not store your raw content or use it to train models. See our privacy policy and the FAQ for details.
