By accessing or using DeGPT ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

DeGPT is a text cleaning tool that transforms AI-generated text into polished, professional content. The Service is available through:

• Our web application at degpt.app
• ChatGPT integration via MCP (Model Context Protocol)

• You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service
• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Circumvent usage limits through multiple accounts
• Use automated systems to access the Service beyond normal use

Free Tier

• 20 DeGPTs (text cleanings) per calendar month
• 1 saved custom preset
• All cleaning features included
• Usage resets on the 1st of each month

Pro Tier ($3.99/month or $39/year)

• Unlimited DeGPTs
• Unlimited saved presets
• Priority support

• Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings
• No refunds for partial billing periods
• Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance

Your Content

You retain all rights to text you process through the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not store it.

Our Service

The DeGPT name, logo, and all related software are the property of DeGPT. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our software.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of cleaned text
• We are not liable for any third-party actions or content

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DeGPT from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse the Service or other users

You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
